OUT! IN THE AIR AND GONE! Mohammed Siraj with the double strike for Bengaluru! First Riyan Parag and now Shimron Hetmyer, Rajasthan are digging a hole for themselves through their shot selection. Siraj targets the stumps and serves it on a length, Shimron Hetmyer has a wild heave across the line. Gets a top edge that goes very high in the air around the cover region. Loopy, dipping, slower delivery, on middle and leg, Riyan Parag takes it on the full and swipes it to deep mid-wicket even as the bottom hand comes off the bat. A single taken.

Dayal begins from over the wicket and goes into the wicket straight away, around off, Shimron Hetmyer waits for the slower delivery and drags the pull on the bounce to deep mid-wicket for one.

A couple of dots by Green to get out of the over. Rajasthan get 17 runs off the over and they have got the big over they were after. This is on a back of a length, on off, Riyan Parag rolls his wrists and controls the pull to mid-wicket.

SIX! Clean as a whistle and it looks like the two batters have decided to take down Green. Errs in length does Green as serves a slower one, on a length, on the off-stump line, Riyan Parag backs away and gives himself room. Spanks it over cover and deposits it into the stands for a biggie.

Oh, dear! Rajasthan almost gave another wicket away and Riyan Parag would have certainly been at fault there. Full and straight, looking for the inswinging yorker, Riyan Parag manages to jam it out wide of long on and Shimron Hetmyer calls for two right away. However, Parag denies it and Hetmyer is almost down at the other end when Parag finally starts running. The throw comes in at the keeper's end which is the right one but is well wide and Parag is safe.

A slower bumper now, angling across from leg stump, Shimron Hetmyer gets a bit low, leaving his bat hanging but does well to angle it away towards deep backward square leg for one more.

On a good length around off and angling back in, Riyan Parag punches it off the front foot and down to long off for a single.

Strategic break! A potential game-changing effort from Virat Kohli has lifted Bengaluru's spirits and it came just at the right time as a steady partnership was building for Rajasthan. Cameron Green has produced a stellar spell so far but he has only one over remaining, leaving others to step up to the plate in the remaining phase of the game. As for Rajasthan, they require 58 runs off the last 6 overs which is pretty gettable in this day and age. With Rovman Powell still left in the shed, Rajasthan will be confident enough to get the job done but a lot will rest on the shoulders of Riyan Parag. Mohammed Siraj (2-0-16-0) returns to the attack.

Just four runs and a wicket off that over and Cameron Green is bowling a seemingly game-changing spell here. Hard length around off stump, Riyan Parag uses his wrists to play it through mid on and pick up a single.

OUT! RUN OUT! It is a Virat Kohli special in the field! Cameron Green strides in and bowls it short over middle stump, Riyan Parag gets on top of the bounce and pulls it firmly in front of square on the leg side. Kohli who is standing at deep square leg, runs around to his left and covers a fair bit of distance but it still should have been an easy two. The batters just stutter for a moment and that has cost them as Kohli fires in a bullet of a throw at the bowler's end. Green collects it and almost makes a mess of it while dislodging the bails but the replays show that the ball wasn't completely out of his hand and it is fair run out with Jurel's bat having nothing inside the popping crease. Another twist in the game!

Is that out? Bengaluru think they have got their man but Cameron Green does not look as convinced as others. Did the ball slip out of his hands while disturbing the stumps? No, it does not look like and one of the replays shows that Dhruv Jurel might be just short. The third umpire looks at another angle and concludes that Jurel is indeed short of his crease. The Ahmedabad crowd goes wild as OUT flashes on the big screen.

Excellent work in the deep but the batters do well to pick up three runs. Pitched up, quite full and on off stump, Riyan Parag waits a bit before hammering the ball away wide of sweeper cover. Mahipal Lomror runs to his right and puts in a big dive but the ball gets deflected away from him which allows an extra run.

Change? Yes, Lockie Ferguson (2-0-12-1) has been brought back into the attack.

A huge appeal from the bowler for caught behind and right at the buzzer, Faf du Plessis does review it. Another fine bumper from Cameron Green as he comes from wider of the crease and bangs it in right around the helmet. Riyan Parag looks to take it on but is beaten for pace and bounce and Dinesh Karthik pouches it well behind the stumps. Doesn't look to be bat involved on the first replay and UltraEdge confirms the same. This is a crucial and tricky phase of play for both sides now.

Full and honing in on the stumps, Riyan Parag jams the ball back out and Cameron Green does well to get a big right hand on it on the followthrough.

Slightly back of a length and angled into the body, Dhruv Jurel tucks it off his hips down to deep backward square leg for a run.

This is floated up quite full on off and middle, Dhruv Jurel punches it down to long off for another single.

OUT! STUMPED! Oh, that is catastrophic for Rajasthan and the skipper has thrown his wicket away. Karn Sharma tosses this one up a bit fuller and wide of the off stump and not completely full. The ball further turns away as it is the regular leg-break and Sanju Samson comes down the pitch, backing away and looks to go inside out which makes it even more difficult for him to reach the ball. Samson ends up running past it and Dinesh Karthik is lightning quick to take off the bails. Bengaluru back in the game in the blink of an eye.

Mahipal Lomror covers good ground to his right and restricts the batters to just a single. Hang on, the replays show that Samson was lazy to get back in and was not facing the ball while returning. Had the throw been near the stumps, things would have been interesting there.

Starts with a full delivery, at 86.7 kph, on middle, Yashasvi Jaiswal presses forward and gets his bat out in front to clip it wide of long on. Virat Kohli runs around to his left and keeps it down to one.

Strategic break! Well then, just like Qualifier 1, an under-par total is proving relatively harmless for the chasing side and with the dew well set in, Rajasthan are in command right now. Bengaluru did have chances to get more wickets but have been well under their best on the field and Yashasvi Jaiswal has made sure to keep the boundaries flowing. Bengaluru need wickets in a heap in the next 4-5 overs if they are to have a chance at winning this game but for now, Rajasthan seem to be well ahead. Let's see if things change or not in the middle phase.

Nails the yorker right at the base of the off stump but does not offer any pace on it as he rolls his fingers over the ball. Tom Kohler-Cadmore fails to pick the slower one and gets deceived completely as the ball dips and scoots under the bat. The ball goes through to hit the base of the off stump and the Bengaluru fans in Ahmedabad have found their voices again. Bengaluru will be hoping that one brings two for them here.

FOUR! Tom Kohler-Cadmore making full use of the life he got a few balls earlier and he looks like a spitting image of Jos Buttler at times. Banged in short and at the batter, TKC backs away and pulls it like a tennis forehand smash and well wide of deep mid-wicket for a boundary.

Slower one, bowled full and straight, dipping as well, Tom Kohler-Cadmore waits well before blocking it back to the bowler.

DROPPED! Look away Glenn Maxwell fans, look away! Yash Dayal bowls it short over the middle stump, Tom Kohler-Cadmore with a nothing pull shot and he hits it flat towards deep square leg where Maxwell moves to his left and spills an easy catch. No one can believe it and Maxwell's evening keeps getting worse. The batters get a single.

Pitches it up around middle, Yashasvi Jaiswal gets on the front foot and drives it straight back. The ball deflects off the bowler's hand and goes to mid on. 13 off that over and now Rajasthan have started taking control of the game.

FOUR! Oh, that is sloppy work in the deep and already we have seen a couple of fielding errors because of the dew. Short ball, angled in at the batter's helmet, Yashasvi Jaiswal does well to get his hands out in front and pulls it down to deep backward square leg. Swapnil Singh slides across to his left there and just spills the ball onto the ropes.

FOUR! The timing on that one was phenomenal. Not a bad delivery at all as Siraj bowls it fractionally short angling it into middle and leg, Tom Kohler-Cadmore just works it away and the ball races past a diving Faf du Plessis at wide mid on for another boundary.

FOUR! Intentional from Yashasvi Jaiswal and 16 runs come off that over. Short and outside off, Jaiswal just dabs it late and gets it well wide of Cameron Green at first slip for a boundary, the fourth of the over.

FOUR! That is a spanking cover drive and Yashasvi Jaiswal is shifting gears here. Full and outside off, Jaiswal gets on the front foot and hammers it through covers for a boundary.

Short and wide again, Yashasvi Jaiswal slashes at it but misses.

FOUR! Much more controlled from Yashasvi Jaiswal. Short of a length and outside off, Jaiswal gets under the ball and manages to cut it over backward point for a nice boundary.

The ball flies quickly and wide of the keeper and Green springs to his right at what is a widish and deepish first slip but the ball bursts through his hands. Green chases it down and pulls the ball back in but not before the ball touches the ropes.

Starts from over the stumps and pitches it up around off stump looking for some swing, Yashasvi Jaiswal hits it on the up but straight to the point fielder.

The hero of the final over in the last game against Chennai, Yash Dayal comes on to bowl.

In the air but wide of third man and doesn't carry either. Mohammed Siraj just drags the length back and offers width, Yashasvi Jaiswal goes after it but slashes it away wide of third man for a single.

Leg bye! Just a tad full and angled in at the pads, Tom Kohler-Cadmore fails to flick it away and the ball thuds into the pads rolling away to square leg for a leg bye.

On a hard length now and angled into the body, Tom Kohler-Cadmore wrists it just to the right of mid on where Faf du Plessis is quick to get onto the ball and fires in a throw at the bowler's end to keep Yashasvi Jaiswal honest.

Keeps bowling it really full and tries to swing it back into the off stump, Yashasvi Jaiswal punches it off the toe end of the bat to mid off and picks up a quick single.

Full and wide of the off stump this time, Tom Kohler-Cadmore goes after it and ends up slicing it away to third man for just a single.

Starts off with a fuller delivery at 137 clicks around off stump and just shaping away a touch, Tom Kohler-Cadmore stays deep in the crease and drives it away straight to covers.

It will be Mohammed Siraj to steam in from the other end. A slip in place to start with.

A dot to end and that's a tidy start from Swapnil Singh, just two runs off the first over of the chase. Bowls it flatter again and on a length around off stump, Yashasvi Jaiswal goes on the back foot and punches it gently towards mid off.

On the shorter side and angled into the batter, Tom Kohler-Cadmore plays it off the back foot and flicks it to deep mid-wicket for a run. TKC is off the mark as well.

Fractionally short and on the off stump, Tom Kohler-Cadmore punches it away to the right of short cover where Faf du Plessis throws himself across the turf and pounces on the ball.

A bit of yes and no but eventually, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rajasthan are off the mark. Nagging length, pushed quickly across the left-hander, Jaiswal looks to cut but the ball goes off the outside edge to backward point and they get across for a single.

Pushed through a bit flatter and around off again, Yashasvi Jaiswal stays compact in his crease and plays it away to mid off.

Starts off from around the stumps and tosses it up nicely, full and around off stump, Yashasvi Jaiswal leans on well and strokes it to mid off.

OUT! CAUGHT! Make that four catches in the match for Rovman Powell and Rajasthan finish things off with a wicket but 13 runs come off the final over. Sandeep Sharma comes from around the stumps and looks for the wide yorker but again, he serves a full toss and Karn Sharma gets under it, trying to lift it all the way over deep cover but the timing isn't quite there. Powell settles himself in the deep and takes a good catch. Bengaluru finish with 172/8!

Full and wide outside off, following the batter who went a long way past the off stump and Swapnil Singh ends up getting an inside edge off the pads and onto the off side for a single.

SIX! BANG! Bengaluru might just get to a defendable total here and the small things here and there in the field are costing Rajasthan. Sandeep Sharma misses the mark with the yorker and serves a full toss outside off, Swapnil Singh pre-empts it and moves across to the off side before slogging it over deep square leg for a maximum.

Banged in well short and outside off, this is lifted over the cover region for a single by Karn Sharma.

Gets it high on the bat and fails to clear mid off. Riyan Parag standing on the ring back pedals and takes it over his head.

Chahal is pumped up and Kohli departs after a promising start.

Strategic break! It was one of those Powerplays where neither side could surge ahead and it has been a cagey affair so far. For Rajasthan, the runs leaked from the other end but Trent Boult kept it quiet at his end and got rewarded for it as well. With the ease in the fielding restrictions, Sanju Samson will be aiming to stem the flow of runs through spin.
