Right then, that concludes Pakistan's white-ball tour of Australia and skipper Josh Inglis goes up to the podium to pick up the trophy and joins his teammates in celebration. Next up for Australia, it is the highly-anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy which will include 5 Tests starting in Perth on the 22nd of November. Pakistan on the other hand travel to Zimbabwe for another white-ball tour beginning on the 24th of November. You can simply switch tabs and check all the fixtures and coverage. Until next time then, take care and goodbye!

Josh Inglis, the victorious skipper of Australia says it has been a great week and it is nice to get another win and seal the series. Adds that when Marcus Stoinis goes like that it's hard to believe and that six on top of the roof was the biggest he has ever seen. Concludes that he heads back for the red ball now.

Salman Agha, the captain of Pakistan, says that he thinks they weren't able to capitalize in middle overs with the bat and that's why they have lost the game. Adds that there are a lot of positives from the games like how Jahandad Khan bowled and Irfan Khan batted in the series. Concludes that they will work on their mistakes and will try to improve as a team.

Spencer Johnson is the PLAYER OF THE SERIES for picking up 8 wickets in 3 matches including a five-wicket haul. He says it's great to be back in the side and win the way they did. Adds that every opportunity he gets to represent his nation is special and is really happy to have contributed. Mentions that this way was a pretty nice wicket for the bowlers up top and despite Babar Azam playing so nicely, they came back strong.

Marcus Stoinis is adjudged the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for his blistering half-century. He says that he is happy with scoring runs on this good wicket and pleased with the win. Adds that it was good hitting against Rauf who is one of the best bowlers in the whole series and is happy that he was able to score those sixes against him.

The presentation ceremony...

Earlier in the day, the stand-in skipper for Pakistan, Salman Agha opted to bat first on a cold evening in Hobart but this move backfired. Babar Azam was prolific at the top and Usman Khan showed promise too but the visitors just kept losing wickets. The Aussie bowlers were a bit sluggish to begin with but soon got into the groove and broke the back of that middle order in the middle phase of the innings. Aaron Hardie was the chief architect as he picked up a career-best 3 for 21 and the Aussies managed to bundle out Pakistan for just 117. In reply, the Aussie openers failed to impress once again but the middle order came good and they galloped to victory.

Pakistan didn't bowl badly even though the scorecard reflects differently, it's just that they had a very under-par total on the board and towards the end, they were just taken down by The Hulk. Shaheen Afridi got the first breakthrough after which, Jahandad Khan built on an impressive start and picked up his maiden T20I wicket as well. However, in the middle overs, they couldn't get the wickets and were soon blown away in just 11.2 overs as the likes of Haris Rauf and Shaheen Afridi were smoked to all parts of the ground.

Needing 118 runs for the win on a deck that demanded at least 150-160 runs, Australia didn't quite begin well as they lost Matthew Short in the 3rd over and then Jake Fraser-McGurk too fell inside the Powerplay as he tried to muscle his way out. After that though, Josh Inglis and Marcus Stoinis put on a partnership and whilst Inglis played a few lovely strokes, it was Stonis who took on Haris Rauf in one over and killed the game. Stoinis didn't leave it there as he piled on more misery on the Pakistani pacers and finished the game with an unbeaten 61 off just 27 balls.

What a way to clean-sweep the series from Australia! They have been dominant in this final game against a hapless Pakistan side and do take revenge for that shock ODI series defeat.

NO BALL! What an anticlimactic finish! Australia win the game by 7 wickets and clean sweep the series 3-0! Marcus Stoinis take a bow! The umpire calls it a No Ball for above the waist height and Australia wrap the game with 52 balls remaining!

Commentary

We are back with Australia's reply! The umpires make their way out and are followed by the Pakistan players who are spreading out across the field. Jake Fraser-McGurk and Matthew Short are the openers for Australia! Shaheen Afridi has the new ball and will start the proceedings for Pakistan! Away we go!

... THE RUN CHASE ...

Right then, with just 118 runs to chase, Australia will surely come out with intent to finish this quickly. Pakistan, on the other hand, will need more than just a clinical turnaround to defend such a small total. However, they do have the bowlers capable of making this chase tricky and keeping Australia on the edge. The stage is set for an exciting finish, and we’ll be back with the action in just moments! Stay tuned!

Aaron Hardie who took 3 for 21 in that first innings, is down for a chat. He says that the pitch looked good and they started well but we did excellent to pull things back. Reckons that the bowlers upfront did enough to allow them to come in the middle phase and get the wickets. Ends by saying that they should be able to chase this target down.

Shaheen Afridi provided a late surge, offering Pakistan a glimmer of hope by pushing the total past the 100-run mark, but Australia refused to relent. With clinical precision, they wrapped up the innings, bowling out the visitors for a mere 117 runs. Aaron Hardie was the standout performer with the ball, finishing with a three-wicket haul, while Adam Zampa delivered at the crucial moments, taking two key wickets.

What followed was a dramatic collapse, a series of wickets tumbling in quick succession that perfectly encapsulated Pakistan’s chaotic approach. Apart from Babar Azam, no batter seemed to find their rhythm, swinging at everything that came their way. The result was a stunning collapse from a strong position of 61/1 to a precarious 92/7, leaving Pakistan in a deep hole as Australia took complete control.

Sensing the need to shift the momentum, the Australian skipper, turned to his ace, Adam Zampa, and the spinner delivered with precision, breaking the growing partnership by dismissing Haseebullah in his very first over. It was a pivotal breakthrough for Australia as the pair had started to take control. Moments later, Aaron Hardie joined the fray, claiming the crucial wicket of Usman Khan in the next over, further tightening Australia's grip on the game.

What a clinical bowling display from Australia! They have completely dominated, bundling Pakistan out for just 117 runs in 18.1 overs. After winning the toss and electing to bat, Pakistan's intent was evident from the very first over, with their new opening pair showing aggressive strokeplay. However, Sahibzada Farhan's bold approach against Spencer Johnson proved costly as he fell in the second over. Undeterred, Babar Azam and Haseebullah Khan seized momentum, countering the Australian pacers with confidence and flair, guiding Pakistan to a strong Powerplay finish at 58/1.

18.1W

OUT! TIMBER! Right on the money from Spencer Johnson and Pakistan are bundled out for 117 in 18.1 overs. Johnson strolls in from over the wicket and spears in a yorker at 132.4 clicks, angling it in from around off. Sufiyan Muqeem makes room to squeeze it out on the off side but the ball sneaks through and crashes into the base of off and middle. Johnson finishes off with two wickets as well.

The news coming in on Glenn Maxwell is that he has sustained a low grade hamstring strain and will come out to bat if required!

Sufiyan Muqeem is the last man to walk in for Pakistan!

OUT! TAKEN! Excellent effort in the deep from Marcus Stoinis and Australia are just a wicket away now from bundling Pakistan out. Nathan Ellis goes full now and angles it in at the legs, Jahandad Khan stays deep in the crease and backs away to flick it over mid-wicket. The connection seems decent but there's not much height on it. Stionis runs to his right from deep mid-wicket and slides across to take a fine catch just inside the ropes.

17.20

That's a bit of a stinger as well. Another slower bumper, this time from Ellis and Jahandad is way too early in the pull. The ball ends up hitting him on the back of the front elbow.

All in readiness for the game to begin! Scenes from earlier show Jahandad Khan being presented his maiden T20I cap by Shaheen Afridi. The umpires have made their way out to the middle and the Australian players can be seen jogging onto the field of play as well. It will be the new pairing of Babar Azam and Sahibzada Farhan to open the innings for Pakistan. Xavier Bartlett has the new ball in hand and is ready to steam in. Let's play...

Pakistan (Playing XI) - Sahibzada Farhan, Babar Azam, Haseebullah Khan (In for Mohammad Rizwan) (WK), Usman Khan, Salman Agha (C), Irfan Khan, Jahandad Khan (On debut and in for Naseem Shah), Abbas Afridi, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Sufiyan Muqeem.

Australia (Unchanged XI) - Matthew Short, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Josh Inglis (C/WK), Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Tim David, Aaron Hardie, Xavier Bartlett, Nathan Ellis, Spencer Johnson, Adam Zampa.

TOSS - Pakistan win the toss and will BAT first.

Australia, meanwhile, have been solid but know they haven’t quite hit the lofty standards they set for themselves. This final game offers them the perfect chance to close out the series on a high and deliver the kind of dominant performance their fans expect, all without any added pressure. Jake Fraser-McGurk has shown glimpses of promise with strong starts but has yet to convert them into significant scores, something he’ll be determined to correct today. While the middle order has shown signs of shakiness, more consistency and firepower are anticipated from the entire batting lineup. On the bowling front, the pacers have been impressive, consistently making their mark, and will be keen to wrap things up emphatically and secure a 3-0 series sweep. An exciting final contest is on the horizon, so stay tuned as the toss and updates unfold shortly!

Pakistan have revealed their playing XI for this high-stakes clash, with Salman Agha taking charge as skipper in the absence of Mohammad Rizwan. Naseem Shah, following a disappointing outing in the last game, makes way for the debutant Jahandad Khan, while Haseebullah Khan will don the gloves for the Men in Green. After a dominant showing in the ODI format, high hopes were pinned on Pakistan as they entered this T20I series, especially against a relatively inexperienced Australian side. However, things haven't gone as planned for the visitors. Missed opportunities at key moments in both previous matches have cost them dearly, and the lack of impactful contributions from their star players has been a worrying sign. Despite the setbacks, Haris Rauf has stood tall as a cornerstone of the team’s efforts and is expected to leave a lasting impression in this final game. With pride on the line, Pakistan will be determined to end their tour on a high note.

Hello and a warm welcome to the grand finale of this 3-match T20I series between Australia and Pakistan at the iconic Bellerive Oval in Hobart! The hosts, Australia, have showcased their dominance, securing an unassailable 2-0 lead and are now eyeing a clean sweep to put an exclamation mark on their triumph. Meanwhile, Pakistan will be determined to end their campaign with a victory, bringing their best game to claim a much-needed consolation win in this format.

... MATCH DAY ...

After Pakistan staged a monumental comeback to seal an unlikely ODI series win in Australia, the hosts have come roaring back with a fairly inexperienced side to win the T20I series 2-0 with a game in hand. Next up is the final match of this tour leading up to the Aussie summer and it is the 3rd T20I that will be played at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart. We've seen a couple of matches so far in this series, with the first one being marred by rain and the second one was a low-scoring affair. In both matches, the Aussies have looked in control with the ball but the batting still needs to be a lot more consistent. Jake Fraser-McGurk has had a couple of quick starts but hasn't been able to convert them into substantial scorers and that has been the norm for him so far in his infant international career. The middle order also looks stacked with the likes of Inglis, Maxwell, Stoinis, Hardie and Tim David but Matthew Short up top has been their main man so far with the bat. On the bowling front, the pacers have been prolific and the return of Xavier Bartlett and Nathan Ellis has been a huge positive for the hosts. In the previous game though, it was Spencer Johnson who ruled the roost with a stellar five-wicket haul, a rare sight in this format of the game and the Aussies will be eyeing a whitewash here. On the other hand, Pakistan have also brought a few new players into the squad but it has been their mainstays with the bat who have failed to fire thus far. Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam have flopped up top whereas the likes of Irfan Khan and Usman Khan have some positive intent. The pacers have enjoyed a memorable tour and continue to do so but they need that top order to fire if they are to end the tour on a high. So, will Pakistan will able to clinch a win and avoid the whitewash? Or will Australia blow they away once again? Only time will tell.
