OUT! Splendid work in the field removes Mehran Khan from the middle. Low full toss in middle, Mehran Khan presents a full face of his bat and looks to clear the fence towards wide long on but Tim David had other ideas as he rund to his right gathers it in the playing area lifts it as his momentum takes him over the fence jumps back in and takes it cleanly. Tim takes a good rally catch and sees the back of Mehran Khan.

Is that a clean catch? Tim David seems to have done a stellar job on the boundary rope. The umpires however go upstairs and the replays confirm that David did everything right, he takes the catch inside the ropes and is able to lob it back in before crossing the ropes and then hops back in to take it safely. Surprisingly, Wade didn't go for the double whammy with the stumping as Shoiab's foot was certainly in the air.

Full toss outside off, Khalid Kail swings at it and misses. This was a hit-me delivery but the batter completely missed out.

Time for a drinks break. Australia have stamped their authority in this game with clinical bowling performance in the first 10 overs. The Aussies have not lt Oman batters settle in and have kept taking wickets regularly. Oman now needs to keep in mind about the NRR and they would be looking to take the game as deep as they could.

A slower bumper, well disguised and bowled a fair bit outside off stump. Ayaan Khan lets thris one through to the keeper in hopes of a wide but that is bowled spot on.

Short of a length and outside off, Khalid Kail stays on the back foot and slaps it away to deep point for a run.

Good length, angling it onto the off stump, Ayaan Khan opens the bat face and guides it down to third man for a single.

FOUR! Streaky but will do for Oman at the moment. Hard length outside off, offering width, Ayaan Khan goes tentatively at it and gets a thick outside edge that runs down to third man for a boundary.

That one zipped through! Bowled from around the stumps and angled back in a long way from outside off. This one stays low and Ayaan Khan is beaten past the outside edge.

Flatter delivery, sliding on from around middle, Ayaan Khan backs away and cuts it well in front of square on the off side for a single.

Pushed through a bit quicker and a tad fuller on middle and leg, Ayaan Khan gets pressed back but manages to block it out.

Short and outside off stump, cut away off the back foot well behind point for a couple of quick runs.

Flatter and on a shorter length at the stumps, Ayaan Khan tentatively blocks it off.

Beaten! Brings out the googly does Adam Zampa bowling it a bit flatter and around off stump. Ayaan Khan looks to drive but is beaten past the outside edge.

Oh, dear! Ayaan Khan could have been run out twice on one ball but the Aussies let him off the hook. Back of a length and around off stump, Khan dabs it down in front of backward point and looks for one but is sent back. David Warner has a shy at the stumps at the keeper's end Khan was well out if Warner had hit. The batters then do go for the single as the fielder vacking up is quite far behind. Tim David now picks up the ball and misses the direct hit at the bowler's end.

OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Marcus Stoinis has done it again and is singlehandedly winning the game for his side. Stoinis digs this one in a bit and knowingly pushes it much wider of the off stump. The ball goes even further away after pitching and Zeeshan Maqsood goes chasing after it. Zeeshan doesn't move his feet and ends up getting it off the toe end of the bat to the left of the keeper. Matthew Wade dives across and takes a brilliant catch.

Oh, that was spicy from Marcus Stoinis! Stoinis goes a bit wide on the crease and puts in a bit more effort as he bangs it in on a hard length and angles it in. The ball shoots off the deck and Zeeshan Maqsood is caught on the left forearm.

Pitched up around the off stump, Zeeshan Maqsood gets on the front foot and punches it straight to covers.

Nicely bowled! Comes from around the stumps and bowls it on a good length in the channel, getting it to straighten off the deck. Zeeshan Maqsood has a little nibble at it but the ball beats the outside edge.

A touch fuller and turning in from outside off, Khalid Kail rocks back and cuts the ball down straight to backward point.

A bit quick and flat around middle, Khalid Kail plays it from the crease and to the right of the bowler.

FOUR! That is nicely played! On the shorter side and turning in from outside off, Khalid Kail just waits on the back foot and dabs it down between point and short third for a lovely boundary.

Over the wicket now to the right-hander and bowled shorter outside off, Khalid Kail cuts it to the left of point where Travis Head misfields. No run taken though.

Nagging length outside off and turning away, Zeeshan Maqsood taps it with the turn towards point and picks up a single.

Bowled from around the stumps, quick and around the top of off stump, extracting extra bounce. Zeeshan Maqsood stays back and dabs it in front of point.

Glenn Maxwell is introduced into the attack and it is Khalid Kail walking out next to bat.

OUT! EDGED AND GONE! A lovely piece of bowling and Marcus Stoinis has the last laugh as he sends the Oman skipper back to the hut. Lovely length, just a bit full and on off stump, this one pitches and seams away off the deck. Aqib Ilyas is drawn forward but the ball isn't all that full and the seam movement means the outside edge is found. The ball nestles into the mitts of Matthew Wade behind the stumps and Oman have lost their third wicket at the end of the Powerplay.

OUT! LBW! Looked dead straight and the finger is raised after the appeal! There were two noises though and Kashyap Prajapati has taken the review. Nathan Ellis dishes out the quicker one again and bowls it full on middle, angling it back in. Kashyap Prajapati looks to clear the front leg and heave across the line but seems to be beaten on the inside edge. The third umpire is called in and there's no bat involved as Ball Tracking comes up with umpire's call on the wickets and the onfield decision will stand.

Another slower one but this is pitched up on the stumps, Kashyap Prajapati watchfully blocks it off.

Kashyap Prajapati is going nowhere at the moment. Nathan Ellis displaying all his skills as he brings out the sloeer bumper now and bowls it around off stump. This one comes in at helmet height and Kashyap Prajapati is well beaten as he looks to hook it away.

The quicker one now, bowled on a hard length around middle and gets it to shoot off the deck, Kashyap Prajapati is taken aback and gets hit on the gloves.

Starts off with a back-of-the-hand slower ball, bowls it into the pitch and around off, Aqib Ilyas dabs it down in front of point and picks up a quick single.

Beaten! Nice and full around the off stump, nipping away off the deck, Kashyap Prajapati looks to play at it but the ball zips past the outside edge.

Short again and around the hips, Aqib Ilyas whips it nicely and down to fine leg for just a single.

Slower delivery, on a length and outside off, Aqib Ilyas goes across the off stump and looks to scoop it away but is well beaten.

Banged in quick and short at the batter, hurrying on, Kashyap Prajapati whips it away down to deep backward square leg for one.

Wow, a comedy of errors out there in the middle and eventually, Aqib Ilyas survives. Full and shaping into the pads, Aqib Ilyas misses the tuck and the ball goes off the pads in front of square leg. Ilyas wants the run but is left stranded midway on the crease. Travis Head there picks up the ball but ends up just lobbing a throw at the keeper's end which Matthew Wade is unable to collect. Glenn Maxwell who is backing up pick up the ball and under-arms it on the stumps. The replays though show that Ilyas had made it back by then.

FOUR! Mid off was well wide but that is a lovely shot from Aqib Ilyas. Pitched up around off stump, Ilyas just leans on and strokes it with the full face of the bat down to the long off fence for a boundary.

That should have been put away! Full and wide outside off, a low full toss, Aqib Ilyas reaches out and slaps it straight to the man at cover-point.

Oh, that was the ball that can trouble any batter. Nice and full on the stumps, swinging back in so late, Aqib Ilyas does well to get bat first on that one as the ball ends up thudding on the pads.

WIDE! Drags the length back a bit and spills it down the leg side for another wide.

Leg bye! Good length around leg stump and skidding through, Kashyap Prajapati misses the flick and the ball goes off the thigh pad just to the leg side. The batters scamper across for a leg bye.

Pitched up around the middle stump, Kashyap Prajapati solidly blocks it off with a straight bat.

On a hard length and outside off stump, Kashyap Prajapati plays it late and just guides it past a diving Glenn Maxwell at first slip down to third man for one.

The inside edge saves him! Full and around off, getting it to shape back in, Kashyap Prajapati falls over a bit as he looks to flick and gets a big inside edge back onto the pads.

Back of a length and on a tight line around off stump, Kashyap Prajapati stands tall and taps it down to backward point.

On a good length and in the channel outside off stump, Kashyap Prajapati watches it well and shoulders arms at it. You don't see that often in T20 cricket!

Goes even fuller and bowls it outside off, Aqib Ilyas squeezes the drive of the outside half of the bat down to third man and picks up a single.

Starts from over the wicket and pitches the ball right up to the off stump, Aqib Ilyas stays watchful and plays it back to the bowler.

End of a long and engrossing first over and Oman are 12/1 at the end of it. Full and wide outside off, thrashed away on the up wide of mid off for a single.

Good review! Another appeal for LBW and this time, the finger goes up. Aqib Ilyas has reviewed it pretty quickly. On a fullish lenght at 141.4 clicks and swinging back in from leg stump, Aqib Ilyas misses the flick and gets hit on the pads, this one seems to be shaping down the leg side. No bat involved and Ball Tracking shows that it was pitching outside leg stump and the onfield call is overturned. NOT OUT!

WIDE! That is wayward from Mitchell Starc as he now goes full and wide, slanting it well beyond the tramline outside off.

FOUR! Uppish but in the gap! Too full and wide outside off, looking for the magic delivery but this one doesn't swing back in. Aqib Ilyas goes after it and gets it square past cover-point as the ball trickles away into the fence.

OUT! LBW! A brute of a delivery from Mitchell Starc as he gets the fuller one to swing back in late from middle stump. Pratik Athavale looks to jam it out but seems to have got an inside edge onto the pads. A huge appeal for LBW but the umpire says no. Was it pad first? There were two noises and eventually, Mitchell Marsh does take the review. The replays though show that it was pad first and Ball Tracking comes up with three reds. Pratik Athavale departs for a golden duck and Starc is underway in his very first over.

Much more like it from Mitchell Starc. Full on leg stump, swinging in late onto the toes, Kashyap Prajapati nudges it away in front of square leg and picks up a single.

WIDE! Overcorrection from Mitchell Starc as he gets it full and well down the leg side for a wide.

FOUR! Oh, that is a lovely, lovely shot to get the run chase underway! Nice and full, shaping back in from around off stump, Kashyap Prajapati covers the off stump and plays a checked drive through cover-point and the ball races away to the fence.

OUT! RUN OUT! They had to go on the final ball but there was never a second run there. Bilal Khan bowls it full and at the stumps, gets it in the blockhole. Tim David hangs deep and digs it down to long on for one but Marcus Stoinis is quick to turn for the second. David turns but a tad slow and Ayaan Khan at long on picks the right end to throw as he fires it in at the keeper's end. Pratik Athavale has ample time to whip off the bails and just 8 runs come off the final over. Australia do manage to finish with a solid score of 164/5 on the board!

FOUR! Nicely done! A bit slower and into the pitch around leg stump, Tim David waits on it and angles it well and gets stellar timing on it to get it behind deep square leg for a boundary.

Top delivery! Full and just wide of the off stump, gets it right in the blockhole at a brisk pace as well, Tim David can't get any bat on it. A decent final over so far from Bilal Khan.

Full and quick, aimed in at the toes, Marcus Stoinis clears the front leg and flicks it aerially and on the bounce to deep mid-wicket for a run.

High in the air and DROPPED! Takes pace off again and bowls it on a nagging length around middle and leg, Marcus Stoinis lofts it without any timing and just over mid off, Kashyap Prajapati comes charging in from the deep and almost overrusn it and fails to keep his balance as the ball pops out. A couple of runs are taken.

Slower delivery, floated up full and around off stump, Marcus Stoinis drives it down to long on and denies the single.

Bilal Khan will bowl the final over.

FOUR! Well waited and put away to the fence. Slower one, dragged down and angled just down leg, Tim David gets inside the line and swats it away wide of short fine leg for a boundary. A wicket in the over but 17 runs off it as well.

OUT! TAKEN! Finally, Oman break the stand but the damage has been done. Kaleemullah steams in from over the stumps and bowls a heavy short ball, dug in quite short and around off stump. David Warner gets rushed as he looks to thrash it away on the off side and gets it high on the bat. The ball flies down to wide long off where Shoaib Khan gets across and reverse-cups it nicely. End of a gritty knock from Warner.

FOUR! Edged away! Full and wide outside off, too wide and Marcus Stoinis throws his hands at it. The ball flies off the outside edge and goes over short third for a boundary.

Nagging length and pushed wide of the off stump, David Warner brinsg out the slog-sweep but fails to make a connection.

Risky single and a direct hit would have got Marcus Stoinis there. A yorker now, fired in on off stump, Stoinis backs away and squeezes it on the bounce to Zeeshan Maqsood at backward point before setting off for the run. Zeeshan gets a perfect bounce but fails to hit the stumps at the bowler's end.

Another quicker one, speared into the stumps, David Warner drills the ball down towards long on and picks up a single.

That shot has not worked out tonight for David Warner. Full and quick outside off stump, Warner attempts the reverse sweep but is well beaten.

SIX! FIFTY up for David Warner now too as he gets his first maximum of the night. Looking to bowl it quick and wide of the off stump, Warner skips down the track, gets beaten in flight a bit but manages to reach for it and lift it over wide long on for a maximum.

Flatter delivery, angled well back into the batter, Marcus Stoinis backs away and hits it down to long on for a single.

Full and wide outside off, nails the yorker, Marcus Stoinis goes across again and gets cramped for room somehwat but jams it back with force. The ball defelcts to the leg side off the bowler's hands and they pick up a single.

NO BALL AND SIX! FIFTY for up for 'THE HULK,' Marcus Stoinis and these are ominous signs for Oman. A poor delivery really from Bilal Khan as he bowls a high full toss outside the off stump. Stoinis stays put and just goes across the off stump before whacking the ball over deep mid-wicket for a biggie. Free Hit coming up as well. And would you believe it? The ball has smashed into one of the solar panels in the stands and has broken it as well it seems. New ball, please!

Keeps taking pace off but digs it in this time, David Warner comes forward and lifts it over mid on for a single.

WIDE! Another slower one, trying to go full and at the legs but spills it a fair bit down leg for a wide.

David Warner goes across to reverse-scoop but misses and the ball just goes past the leg stump, rolling away. Athavale dives across and saves some extra runs.
