Leg bye! Slower delivery, into the pitch and right at the batter. Chris Jordan is early on the pull and misses. The ball hits the body and falls back on the deck as the batters scamper through for a leg bye.

Marcus Stoinis tries to dig it into the pitch and angle it in at the batter but the ball doesn't quite rise up. Harry Brook makes room and pulls it to deep mid-wicket for one more.

Fractionally short and around off stump, Chris Jordan pulls it firmly and well in front of square on the leg side but just for a single.

On a good length and around off stump, hit away on the up and through the cover region for a single.

FOUR! Nicely played! Just back of a length and angled into the batter, Harry Brook backs away and checks the lofted drive to get it inside-out over covers and nearly gets a maximum. That was some shot!

A dot to end another fine oover from Pat Cummins. The cutter yet again, bowled a tad fuller and outside off. Chris Jordan swings hard at it but fails to connect.

OUT! CAUGHT! Straight to the man and Pat Cummins does get his second wicket. Hard length, taking pace off and bowling it outside off. Liam Livingstone holds his shape and flat-bats it down to long off where Mitchell Starc settles himself inside the ropes and catches it just to his left.

TAKEN! OH, NOT QUITE! Pat Cummins with another cutter into the pitch and this is bowled outside the off stump. Harry Brook just throws the kicthen sink at it and gets a top edge. The ball lobs up over short third where Adam Zampa leaps high up and grabs it brilliantly with the right hand over the shoulder. However, the ball pops out as Zampa thuds back onto the ground and the batters get a isngle.

Pace on this time and Pat Cummins nails the yorker at the stumps, Liam Livingstone squirts it away off the toe end of the bat and past square leg for another single.

Just short of a length and outside off, slower too, Harry Brook sets up deep in the crease and mistimes the heave badly down to long on for one more.

The off-cutter, bowled a bit fuller and pushed well outside off, Liam Livingstone goes after it and slaps it to sweeper cover for a single.

Nice and full around off stump, Liam Livingstone goes into-out and drives it towards deep cover for a single.

Right through! Liam Livingstone is early to back away and Adam Zampa fires it right in the blockhole around the toes. Liam cue-ends it back past the keeper and down to fine leg for a couple of runs.

Halt! The ball has disappered near the sightscreen and hence the fourth umpire walks with a box of balls. The new leather is selected and we are good to go...

SIX! High and handsome but a little too late it seems. A boundary after 21 balls in a chase of over 200 and that's just not going to do it for England. Floated full and it is the googly on leg stump, Liam Livingstone steps out and whacks it a long way over the long on fence and the ball seems to be lost.

Flatter delivery around off stump, Harry Brook firms it off the back foot to wide long off and collects another single.

Shorter one on the stumps, sliding back on quickly, Liam Livingstone backs away and hits it down to long off for another single.

Sees the batter stepping out and fires it in at the toes, Harry Brook jams it out to mid off for a single.

Hits the deck hard and bowls it well outside off, flirting with the tramline, Liam Livingstone reaches out but fails to get any bat on it. No wide called either.

Trying everything here Harry Brook but England aren't even getting a single boundary here. Into the pitch again and outside off, Brook walks across and picks it up well over backward square leg but there's a fielder in the deep and it will just be another single.

Slightly back of a length and wider of the off stump, Harry Brook stays back and cuts it well behind the point region for a couple of runs.

Singles aren't going to do it for England here. Too full and wide, Liam Livingstone stays deep in the crease but can't get under it and swats it hard down to long off for another run.

OUT! TAKEN! Top catch in the deep from David Warner and Australia have executed the plan to perfection. Full and wide from Pat Cummins, bowled from around the stumps and forcing the batter to hit to the longer side of the ground. Moeen Ali walks across to the off side and slashes it away up and over backward point. Warner looses the ball in the sun a bit but does well to settle himself and reverse-cup it nicely.

Switches to over the wicket for the right-hander and brings out the slower one, into the pitch and at the batter. Harry Brook makes room and hits it through covers for one.

A bit shorter and a bit wider, Moeen Ali walks well outside the off stump and cuts it over the backward point region for a single.

A dot ball to begin with! Bowled from around the stumps, into the pitch and around off, Moeen Ali pushes it out towards cover.

Ends up by bowling and good-length delivery, outside off, Harry Brook throws his bat at it but misses. What an excellent over from Josh Hazlewood. Just a couple of runs from it. England need 76 off the last 5 overs remaining.

OUT! TAKEN! Jonny Bairstow's struggling stay comes to an end and Australians celebrate! Josh Hazlewood breaks a budding partnership just at the right time. Short in length, skids through on top of off, Jonny Bairstow goes for a pull shot but loses his shape and the ball slices off the willow, high up in the air straight towards Glenn Maxwell stationed at deep mid-wicket who takes a very simple catch running forward.

OUT! TAKEN! STUNNER FROM STARC! Marcus Stoinis bowls a cross-seamed delivery, on a length around off, Will Jacks flatly airs it over mid off but doesn't get the requisite distance and timing to sail it over the fence. As a result, the ball carries in front of the long off region where Mitchell Starc runs forward and takes a stunning low diving catch to dismiss the dangerous Will Jacks.

Keeps the line on the fourth stump, on a length, Jonny Bairstow pulls it with no timing towards long on for one.

Lands it outside off, on a shade full length, Jonny Bairstow swings hard for an expansive lofted cover drive but misses to connect.

Well, the game is hanging in the balance at the moment with Australia striking a strong comeback, courtesy of Adam Zampa's crafty bowling which garnered them the pricy wickets of the English openers Jos Buttler and Phil Salt who looked dangerous. At halway, Australia would be aiming to get a couple of more wickets to exert more pressure on their arch-rivals. Whereas, England do have a luxury of a strong batting depth. England need 109 off the last 10 overs now. Let's see how this phase pans out for both teams.

Oh, in the air but right in the gap! Gives this one some air and flights it up on a length around off. This is not that full and Jonny Bairstow leans on to drive but is early in the shot. The ball gets chipped off the face of the bat and goes to the left of covers and just out of reach of Mitchell Marsh. Bairstow is off the mark with a single.

OUT! CAUGHT! Adam Zampa has the last laugh here though and Jos Buttler cannot believe it. Zampa keeps bowling it relatively full but pushes this one a bit quicker through the air and around off stump. Buttler goes for the reverse sweep one too many times and ends up chipping the ball just over point where Pat Cummins just leaps up a bit and takes a sharp catch. Buttler was looking really good but Zampa has got Australia back on top here.

SIX! BOOM! Full again and at the stumps, Jos Buttler just clears the front leg a bit and manages to thump the ball flat over the long off fence for a maximum.

Much fuller around off stump, this time Jos Buttler nails the reverse sweep but hits it straight to the man at backward point for no run.

Flighted delivery outside off, slower as well, Jos Buttler is early on the reverse-sweep and ends up lobbing it over the keeper down to third man for a brace.

This is bowled short and outside off, Will Jacks backs away and cuts the ball in front of square on the leg side for a single.

FOUR! Powered away! Short of a length and outside off, Will Jacks stands tall and gets on top of the rise before swatting it away flat and to the right of Travis Head at short cover for a boundary. Head could have got to it but just seemed to be beaten for pace there.

Digs it in short now at kjust over 140 clicks and angles it in a long way into the batter. Will Jacks looks to pick it up over mid-wicket but gets hit high on the thigh pad.

Drifts this one into the legs, looking to turn it away, Jos Buttler just nudges it away with soft hands in front of squatre leg for a run.

Nagging length again on off stump and quicker through the air as well, Jos Buttler is unable to get forward but manages to defend it out on the off side.

Drags this one down around off stump and the ball keeps low, Will Jacks plays it off the back foot and down to long on to get off the mark witn a single.

OUT! BOWLED'EM! Adam Zampa in a big game for Australia yet again and he gets that vital first wicket for his side. Zampa starts from over the stumps and straightaway goes to the flatter trajectory, bowling it fractionally short and trying to skid it onto middle stump. The ball just turns away ever so slightly and goes through quickly, Phil Salt looks to cut off the back foot but is beaten all ends up and the ball knocks over the top of off and middle.

Phil Salt will feel he missed out there. Mitchell Starc serves another full toss, this time on middle and leg, Phil Salt shanks the ball over mid-wicket and picks up just a single.

Full and at the stumps, gets it right this time, Jos Buttler digs it out firmly down to long on for a run this time.

FOUR! Goes for the wide yorker now but serves a full toss instead around off, Jos Buttler uses that bottom hand again and slaps the ball to the right of mid off for another boundary. 17 off the over already.

SIX! Jos Buttler continues his stellar form against Mitchell Starc and sends the ball onto thye roof. Starc rolls his fingers across the ball and just drags back the length a bit around off. Buttler stays deep and shuffles across before whackig it handsomely over wide long on for a biggie.

Pitched up full again and around off, driven off the front foot on the off side for a single.

SIX! Oh, that is a big let off and Travis Head was completely unaware of where the ropes were. Mitchell Starc dishes out a full and wide one, Phil Salt throws his hands at it and slashes the ball down to third man where Head back-tracks and takes the catch but steps on the ropes. He does release the ball but by then it was already a maximum.

Is that a fair catch? Travis Head backtracks and takes the catch at the boundary but the replay shows that his feet were in contact with the boundary cushion with the ball in his hand. NOT OUT.

Oh, that is a sensational take from Matthew Wade behind the stumps but that has gone straight off the helmet or probably the shoulder. Banged in short, a bit of an effort ball from Marcus Stoinis around off. Jos Buttler misses the pull and the ball seems to go off the helmet and towards first slip where Wade springs across and takes the catch. A very tidy end to the Powerplay from Stoinis but England are 54/0.

A bit of yes and no between the batters but no harm is done. Too full and outside off stump, Jos Buttler jams it towards cover-point and Phil Salt at the other end looks for the single but is sent back in time.

This is bowled into the pitch and at the batter again, Phil Salt stays leg side and nudges it down in front of mid-wicket to pick up a single in the deep.

Jos Buttler tries to back away but Marcus Stoinis follows him with a shortish ball and Buttler pulls it down to fine leg for just a single.

FOUR! Up and over! Full again and outside off, Jos Buttler comes down the pitch and forces the lofted shot over the cover region and the ball goes into the fence. 50 up for England as well.

Not where he intended! Just back of a length and at the body, Phil Salt looks to pull but gets in a tangle and the ball goes off the thigh pad towards backward point.

FOUR! CRACKER OF A SHOT! Good length again, on the off stump line, Jos Buttler walks a couple of steps ahead, swipes it across and through short mid-wicket for a boundary.

Full in length, angling on the pads, Jos Buttler flicks it to deep mid-wicket for two.

FOUR! First signs of aggression! Hard length, outside off, Jos Buttler sees the width and his eyes light up. He cuts it in front of square, on the up and through cover-point for a boundary.

Lands it on a good length, and it keeps a tad low on the bounce, just around off, Jos Buttler is taken by surprise and the ball beats his under edge. The ball dies before reaching to the keeper on a few bounces.

Full and straight on the off stump line, Jos Buttler stays leg side of the ball and pushes it back to the bowler.

BEATEN! Angles it across off on a length at 143 kph. Jos Buttler gets squared up as his feet doesn't move and the ball whispers past his outside edge.

A full toss tailing into the batter, on the pads, Phil Salt swipes it with the angle towards deep square leg for a single.

Slants it across off on a fuller length, Phil Salt fails to connect and the ball reaches to the keeper on a bounce.

FOUR! Just manages to get it through! Starc guns it on the toes of the batter, on a very full length, Phil Salt manages to hit it off the inside half of the bat through deep backward square leg for a boundary.

DRAMA! Full in length, angling away outside off, Matthew Wade leans on it and drives it straight to mid off and sets off for a quick single. The fielder is quick to pick and throw at the non-striker's end. Wade dives to get home and Jordan collects the ball and breaks the stumps and appeals for a run out. Hang on, Wade is absolutely unaware of it and tries to run for the second but Jordan uproots the stump seeing Wade trying to sneak another run. TV Umpire checks and confirms that Wade did well to get back in just in the nick of time. Only a single then. NOT OUT. Australia finish high at 201.

Is that a run out? Matthew Wade hits the ball straight to mid off and scampers through for one. The throw comes in quickly and Chris Jordan whips off the bails at the bowler's end but Wade seems to be in by then. However, Wade threatens to sneak an extra run and Jordan uproots one stump. The replays show that there's no problem with the first attempt and Wade is in. But, in the second attempt also, Wade just managed to plant his foot in the crease just before the stump was uprooted. NOT OUT!

Mitchell Starc is the next man in.

OUT! RUN OUT! This is turning out to be an excellent final over for England. Slower short-pitched bumper on the stumps line, Pat Cummins gets deceived by the pace off and doesn't connect the swipe across the line. Matthew Wade wants to be on the strike for the last delivery and he is already more than halfway towards the striker's end. Jos Buttler grabs it behind the stumps and throws it towards the runner's end where Chris Jordan collects the ball and flashes off the bails. Pat Cummins is not even in the frame.

OUT! IN THE AIR AND TAKEN! Jordan gets his 100th T20I wicket. Bangs it short in length, into the body of the batter, Marcus Stoinis tries to pull it over mid-wicket but he does it playing it too close to the body, hence, fails to generate the requisite power and finds Harry Brook at deep mid-wicket. A good crucial cameo from Marcus Stoinis comes to an end.

What was Wade trying to do here? An appeal for caught behind and up goes the finger. Guns it on the back of a length, right on the top of off, and gets an extra bit of bounce on the surface as well. Matthew Wade pre-meditates and tries to reverse scoop it over short third and fails to connect it as the ball gets heavy on him with the bounce. The English players appeal and celebrate as they believe that the ball brushed off the bat but UltraEdge shows that no bat is involved and the ball just brushed his forearm. Also, England will have an extra fielder inside the ring for the final over as they have failed to finish their overs in the stipulated timeframe.

That is a real steepler! Banged in well short and slower too around off, Matthew Wade tries to fetch and pull but miscues it badly into the open space around mid-wicket for a couple of runs.

SIX! A one-handed maximum and Marcus Stoinis spils the over for Adil Rashid and England. Fuller and quicker at the pads, Stoinis goes down on one knee and looks for the pick-up shot but one hand comes off the handle and the ball travels beyond the fine leg fence.

More from the front of the hand, the attempted googly, bowled flatter and at the stumps, Marcus Stoinis blocks it off.

Little bit slower with a bit more flight and gets the leg break to turn, Marcus Stoinis plants his front leg ahead and tries to sweep but is beaten by the turn and bounce.

WIDE! Bowled from the front of the hand and spilled well outside the tramline on the off side.

Quicker and shorter around off, played off the back foot and behind backward point for a single.

Tim David is in at  number 6.

OUT! CAUGHT! Straight to the man and England are back in it. Again that flatter trajectory from Adil Rashid, bowled short this time and over the middle stump. Glenn Maxwell goes on the back foot and bends his back before trying to muscle the ball over deep mid-wicket. Maxwell gets no elevation and hits it flat to the man at deep mid-wicket. Phil Salt takes a fairly simple catch and Australia have lost two wickets in the space of four deliveries.

Bowled flatter through the air and well outside off, Marcus Stoinis fetches and sweeps it away well in front of square leg for a single.

Adil Rashid (2-0-20-0) is back.

Nicely tossed up outside off stump, Marcus Stoinis opens up the off side and drives it firmly down down to long off for a single.

OUT! STUMPED! Jos Buttler almost made a mess of that one but England do have a breakthrough. Liam Livingstone keeps bowling the leg-breaks to the right-handers and flights this one up nicely on a length and drifts it in from around off. Mitchell Marsh is drawn forward but the ball turns away after pitching and beats the bat. Buttler misses the stumps on the first occasion but the replays show that he did enough on the second attempt and Marsh could only get his back foot onto the line and not inside it in time.

Is that out? Quick glovework from Jos Buttler as he flashes off the bails in a blink. The side-on replay shows that Mitchell Marsh's back foot is marginally outside of the popping crease. OUT loads up on the giant screen.

A low full toss on the pads, Glenn Maxwell just eases it away well in front of mid-wicket and turns the strike over.

Floated up on leg stump, Mitchell Marsh plays it with the turn towards covers for one more.

Short again but much straighter, Glenn Maxwell plays it off the back foot towards mid-wicket and picks up a single.

Bowled full and on leg stump, Glenn Maxwell brings out the rebverse sweep and plays it towards cover for no run.

FOUR! Absolutely nailed to exactly where the fielder was a delivery ago and Australia pick up 17 runs off that over. Slower and shorter outside off, sitting up nicely for the batter. Mitchell Marsh waits on the back foot and slaps it just behind point for yet another boundary.

WIDE! With England behind on the over-rate, these extras will certainly frustrate them even further. Full and wide outside off, spilled beyond the tramline and Mitchell Marsh leaves it alone.

On a good length and outside off, pushed away into the off side for a single.

FOUR! Now, that would have been a wide but Glenn Maxwell does much better and picks up a boundary instead. Slower bumper, dug in well short and wide, Maxwell goes chasing after it and manages to get enough power on it to get it over backward point for a boundary.

WIDE! Ooh, maybe a tad harsh call for the bowler. Full and wide, Chris Jordan nails the wide yorker and flirts with the tramline but the umpire feels it is just wide enough and extends his arms.

SIX! Oh, that has been sliced all the way! Bangs it in on a hard length and outside off, Glenn Maxwell throws his bat at it and ends up slicing the ball off the outer half and over Will Jacks at third man for a maximum.

Oh, what was that from Glenn Maxwell? With how the field is set up, Chris Jordan goes full and wide, almost a bit too wide and Maxwell goes a long way across the off stump trying to get it over the mid-wicket region but gets into a horrible poistion and ends up scooping it wide of mid-wicket. Jonny Bairstow tries his best to get there but just doesn't reach it and surprisingly, the batters didn't even take a run.

Too full, in fact, a low full toss on off stump, Mitchell Marsh drives it with a straight bat and down to long off for a single.

Good fielding effort! Shortish length at the body, Glenn Maxwell fends it to square leg and looks for one but turns back and Adil Rashid keeps him honest with a throw at the keeper's end. It is well wide and Mark Wood does well to back up and dives across to save any extra runs.

Well, that one zipped through! Not anywhere near as quick as the previous one but banged in well short and outside off. The uneven bounce means the ball flies through past Glenn Maxwell and straight to the keeper.

Hard length, quick and angled into the leg stump at 153.2 KPH. Glenn Maxwell hangs back and makes room to slog it away but mistimes it badly towards mid-wicket.

FOUR! Powered way by Glenn Maxwell! Slightly overpitched and angled into the legs, Maxwell holds his shape and whips it away well wide of long on for a boundary.

Back of a length, short and wide of the off stump, this is slapped away to deep point for a single.

Buzzers! Hard length bowled at the body of the batter, Mitchell Marsh tucks it away behind square leg for one and looks for two but Liam Livingstone is very quick to come in and scores a direct hit at the keeper's end. However, the ball deflects away and eventually, Australia do get the second run.

Beaten! Bowls this one quicker and on a fullish length wide of the off stump, getting it to nibble away off the deck. Glenn Maxwell stays back to cut it late but is beaten past the outside edge.

SIX! Pace on and Mitchell Marsh does manage to get one away. About 146-odd clicks and on a good length at the batter, Marsh mistimes the heave but the breeze carries it over the mid-wicket fence for a maximum.

Mitchell Marsh trying to muscle everything away but Jofra Archer is bringing out those slower ones which are tough to put away. Seemed like the leg cutter, bowled on a shorter length around off, Marsh with a heave across the line but the ball goes nowhere.

Banged in shorter and slower again over the stumps, Glenn Maxwell stays deep in the crease and hits the pukll flat through mid-wicket for one more. That was actually bowled from the back of the hand by Archer.

On a hard length around off stump and at just 120 clicks, Mitchell Marsh with a wild hoick across the line but he gets an inside eddhe down towards fine leg and picks up a single.

Drinks break! Well then, a very well-fought first 10 overs of the first innings but Australia are well in front thanks to that wonderful Powerplay. Both openers, Travis Head and David Warner got away the huge hits early and Warner in particular was in punishing mood. England did well to pick up a couple of quick wickets but are still chasing the game and need a few more wickets in the middle phase to stem the flow of runs. Australia will certainly eye 200 runs from here but can they get to it? Let's find out. Jofra Archer (2-0-12-1) is back into the attack.

A huge appeal from Mark Wood for LBW but the umpire is unmoved. Wood tries to convince the his skipper to send it upstairs but eventually Buttler decides not to take it. Hits the deck hard again, angles into the batter a bit more, Mitchell Marsh gets in two minds and the ball thuds his pads. The replays later do show that there was a big inside edge.

OUT! TIMBER! 'YOU MISS I HIT,' SAYS JOFRA ARCHER! Both the Australian openers are back in the hut now. Varies his pace and length, on full and attacking the stumps, Travis Head clears his front foot to open the off side but the ball stays a bit low as well. Travis Head swings it hard but gets deceived by the low bounce and the ball whizzes past his inside edge into the stumps. Australia are two down now but they have got a sensational initiation.

FOUR! Through this time! Brings the angle a bit closer and on the top of the middle, Travis Head stays leg side of the ball and cuts it well past backward point for a boundary.

Stays around the wickets, bowls an off-cutter on a length, just around off, Travis Head throws his bat at it and inside edges over the off stump for none.

Steams in from around the wicket, on a length, around off, Travis Head moves to the leg side and cuts it but finds the point fielder.

The Australian skipper, Mitchell Marsh walks out at number 3.

OUT! BOWLED'EM! What relief for England as Moeen Ali strikes and David Warner departs after a fiery cameo. Quick and short at the stumps, bowled flatter and this one skids through. Warner backs away to cut but the ball stays low and sneaks under the willow before castling into the stumps. Warner has done his job one will feel but now England have a chance to bring some control back into this innings.

FOUR! Better length from Moeen Ali but David Warner is up to the task. A tad shorter and angled in from middle and leg, Warner goes back and across in the crease and forces the pull past Chris Jordan and the ball rolls away towards cow corner for yet another boundary.

Flighted delivery, at the batter, David Warner comes down the pitch but ends up squeezing it off the toe end of the bat to square leg.

On the shorter side and bowled around off, Travis Head plays it off the back foot and gets it down to deep cover for a single.

SIX! Wow, that is a clean strike! A nothing delivery really from Moeen Ali as he tosses it up right in the slot around middle, Travis Head simply hits through tge line and whacks it dead straight over the bowler's head for a huge six.

FOUR! Not quite where he intended that to go but that was well-adjusted by Travis Head in the end. Floated up quite full and on leg stump, Head backs away to open up the off side but ends up slogging it away to the right of mid on for a boundary.

Slower one, bowled a tad full and at the stumps, David Warner watchfully keeps it out. 22 off that over as well, the second time that has happened in just the first 4 overs.

FOUR! Takes some pace off the ball and digs it in over middle stump, David Warner sets up for it well and muscles the pull shot well in front of square for a crunching boundary.

SIX! Up, up and away! Carnage out in the middle from David Warner and he has raced to 31 off just 11 balls. Tries to follow up the slower delivery with a quick yorker but ends up serving a full toss on middle and leg. Warner manages to get under it and lifts it in front of square on the leg side for a biggie. 50 up for Australia already.

That in between length on middle and leg, David Warner is unable to get completely forward and decides to just block it back to Mark Wood.

SIX! Just using the pace so well here David Warner. Dug in short and at the rib cage at 145.6 clicks, Warner just gets inside the line a bit, swivels and just angles it over deep fine for another maximum. The signs are ominous for England who are under the pump early on here.

Halt! David Warner has just graciously struck the ball out of the park. The new ball has been taken.

SIX! That is nonchalant from David Warner! Quick and full on the pads, Warner just picks it up and flicks it over deep square leg for a maximum. Short part of the ground and the ball has gone out of the ground. New ball, please!

Hits the deck hard at around 145 clicks, bowling it over middle and angling it in, David Warner backs away and looks to go over the off side but miscues it badly between the two cover fielders. Warner picks up another brace.

WIDE! Brings out the quick bumper and tries to angle it in at the body but spills it down the leg side for a wide.

A bit fuller and angled into the legs, David Warner hangs back again and just tucks it away past square leg for a couple of runs.

This is bowled at over 148 clicks and on a hard length around off stump, David Warner stays back and dabs it down towards point.

Oh, David Warner might have been gone had that hit the stumps. Fast and on a immaculate length, angled in at the top of middle. Travis Head blocks it tentatively besides the crease and sets off for the single. Archer gets to it and throws the ball at the keeper's end but misses as Warner dives in to make his crease.

Excellent piece of work from Mark Wood in the deep. The TV Umpire confirms that he has cut the ball before the ropes. Saves a certain boundary and saves one for his team.

SIX! Two in two and Travis Head putting Will Jacks under pressure right away. Flighted again and around off stump, not that full, Head gets under it well and slogs it away well over deep square leg for another biggie.

SIX! Positive strokeplay from Travis Head. Tossed up on a fuller length and around off, Head goes down on one knee and fetches the slog-sweep, hitting it flat over deep mid-wicket for a maximum.

Oh, that one gripped and bounced! Just drags the length back a bit and bowls it around off and middle, this one turns and bounces, leaving Travis Head bamboozled and goes past the outside edge.

Keeps it full but straightens the line and bowls it a bit more quicker, Travis Head blocks this one back to the bowler.

Nice and full again but a bit more room outside off, Travis Head drives it square through cover-point and picks up a couple of runs to get going.

Nice start from Moeen Ali! Strides in from around the stumps and tosses it up well, getting it to dip around off stump, Travis Head leans right on and blocks it towards mid off.

All done with the pre-match formalities and now it's action time at Bridgetown. The two umpires are already out to the middle. England's players spread out to the field after a last-minute huddle talk. Out walk the two Australian openers, David Warner and Travis Head. The latter takes the guard and will have to face spin first up as Moeen Ali will begin the proceedings with the new ball for England. And, here we go...

Before the action gets underway at the Kensington Oval, Barbados, the match officials, and the two set of players stride out with pride for their respective national anthems. It will be England's national anthem followed by the Australian anthem.

PITCH REPORT - Naseer Hussain is pitchside. He starts by saying that there is a nice breeze blowing and the short boundary is with the wind. Matthew Hayden joins him and says that it is a fresh pitch for this game but quite similar to the others and there are cracks on it. They also mention that the average score on thsi ground is 143 but given the nature of players on show you can add a few runs to it but not quite a 180-plus track.

Australia's captain, Mitchell Marsh says they would have bowled first as well but will now look to post a good total. On holding three ICC major trophies at one time, he adds that everyone that comes here, comes to win the tournament and England are a class team. Mentions that they have a great side with experienced players and it is a chance for them to better their record against England in T20 World Cups. Ends by informing that Pat Cummins comes in to replace Nathan Ellis.

Jos Buttler, the skipper of England, wins the toss and elects to bowl first. Says he's a little bit unsure about how the track will play so it's better to have a target. Adds playing against Australia is really exciting especially at Barbados and also tells they have beaten the Aussies in the recent past. Informs they are going with the same team. Tells they have a great bunch of guys in the set up. Ends up by saying there are a couple of key areas where they can improve and it's all about playing good cricket.
